Below is the output layout and data definitions for Merge/Purge Max™. These fields are typically appended to the right of your original data. On request, we can alternatively update your existing fields.

Field: name of the field. Type: field type; Chr = character or alphanumeric, Num = numeric. Width: field width. Dec: number of decimal points. From: field starting point. To: field ending point. Description: data definition of the field contents.

PEACOCK_ID Chr 10   1 10 Unique ID number assigned to each record - used for support
MP_FLAG Chr 1   11 11 Merge/Purge Max Match Type (key):
H = Household
D = Duplicate
MP_CONF Chr 1   12 12 Merge/Purge Max Match Confidence (key):
1 = Highest confidence

MP_HHID Chr 7   13 19 Household ID number: a unique number for all records in the same household
MP_DUPEID Chr 10   20 29 Duplicate ID number: a unique number for all records in each group of duplicates
MP_PRJFLG Chr 1   30 30 Merge/Purge Max Project Flag (key):
A = Flagged for survival
B = Flagged for deletion
MP_TBLFLG Chr 1   31 31 Merge/Purge Max Table Flag (key):
A = Flagged for survival
B = Flagged for deletion
MP_PRIFLG Chr 1   32 32 Merge/Purge Max Primary Flag (key):
A = Flagged for survival
B = Flagged for deletion
MP_HHCNT1 Num 10 0 33 42 Count of records in each household
MP_HHCNT2 Num 10 0 43 52 Count of records in each household after records flagged for deletion are excluded
MP_DUPECNT Num 10 0 53 62 Count of records in each group of duplicates
